Philippine IPv6 Forum

is the Philippine Chapter of the Global IPv6 Forum based in Luxembourg. The Philippine Chapter is task to promote the adoption of Internet Protocol version6 (IPv6) technology and help facilitate build IPv6 Competency in the Philippines thru close collaborations with the Global IPv6 Forum ( as well as in partnership with IPv6 task forces from around the globe.

The Charter

The Philippine IPv6 Forum is a chapter of the Global – IPv6 Forum dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of Internet Protocol, version 6 (IPv6) in the Philippines.
Comprised of individual members rather than corporate sponsors the Philv6Forum mission is to provide technical leadership and innovative thought for the successful integration of IPv6 into all facets, present, new and emerging networking and telecommunications infrastructure towards rich multimedia content and digital lifestyle service.
The Philippine IPv6 Forum is align with the global IPv6 Forum (, and its work is driven by the impending exhaustion of IPv4 addresses and the associated risk and additional cost that this is expected to impose on organizations and government related agencies.
Through its continuous facilitation of technical and business case white papers, IPv6-centric conferences, IPv6 test and interoperability events, IPv6 deployment readiness guides, IPv6 Education programs ( and in close collaboration with IPv6 Task Forces and Councils from around the globe. Hence, Philippine IPv6 Forum practices accountability and excellence to provide responsive and comprehensive technical resources. A thriving knowledge economy through public-private partnership to bridge the way for strategic IPv6 adoption and readiness in the Philippines.

The Global- IPv6 Forum is a worldwide consortium of International Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and National Research & Education Networks (NRENs), with a mission to promote IPv6 by improving market and user awareness, creating a quality and secure New Generation Internet and allowing worldwide equitable access to knowledge and technology. The key focus of the IPv6 Forum today is to provide technical guidance for the deployment of IPv6 Technology. While IPv6 Summits are organized / supported by the IPv6 Forum and staged in various locations around the world to provide industry and market with the best available information on this rapidly advancing technology. The Global IPv6 Forum, the guiding force for IPv6 adoption and readiness in a striving knowledge economy, Philippines.
